Travel... What A funny word.

Travel... what a funny word. it could mean different things. Travel your own country, someone elses country, maybe even just a county or even the world. people Have different visions, this is mine...

I want to travel. To many places, around the world if you like, North + South America, Australia, France,Greece, India, China, parts of Africa and many more.

 

The Main Thing i wan't to do is travel the States. I've dreamt about it for ages and i don't care if i do it solo or with company, i want to travel U.S.A! I wanna learn about different peoples lifestyles from new york to texas. 50 states is alot and i dont thinkj i'd be able to go to all of them but with some luck i might be able to go to the ones i really want to!

I want to see Famous monuments, such as:

• Twin towers memorial
• The white house
• Times square
• Statue of liberty
• Golden Gate bridge
• And them faces in the wall

I love the word Travel. I draw about different places, write about them too. It's the fact it's an adventure and i love not knowing what comes next, the mystery.

 

To begin any great journey, you must take the first step.

Summer Essentials

Recently the weather has been getting hotter and hotter! Its finally starting to feel like summer and this means we need to check we have all of our summer essentials!

 

Lets Get Started With Fashion

 For those hot, sunny days we highly recommend a pair of shorts, preferably colourful, it is summer remember! Not only do shorts keep your legs cool, they also help you get a nice tan!

 

To pair with your shorts, a white t-shirt, tank top or vest would be perfect! Stylish and simple, what could be wrong with that?

 

Shoes to go with this look are white converse (does not have to be converse) or any brown plimsolls/sandals!   

 

Any necklace, earrings and bracelets will easily go with this outfit to spice it up a little!

 

 

Beauty

On hot, sunny days you don't want to be stuck wearing layers of make-up do you? Instead of wearing foundation, try wearing a BB cream (its light, has medium coverage and is affordable)

 

Make sure to always have a lip balm handy as you don't want your lippies to get burnt! (try to get a coloured lip balm, it adds to your summer look)

 

Make sure to always wear sun cream, you don't want to get burnt! On the subject of skin protection, make sure to wear a moisturiser with high SPF.

 

In the summer, a good thing to have is bright nail varnish! A nice pink colour, white or mint green would go down nicely!

 

Now you don't want to use much heat on your hair, so using a salt spray will create a beachy look without the effort of styling it that way!

 

Do NOT forget to put your deodorant on, don't want to smell do you?

 

 

Other Essentials

Where ever you are going remember to pack a camera, you never know when you will need to capture a quick memory!

 

music and headphones, listening to music while taking a walk in the park really does make it feel even more summery!

As we are three teenagers we aren't able to spend large amounts of money on beauty products so we tend to buy low priced/affordable products! We all love shopping and buying make up, nail varnish and different things from different drugstores but it is much better when they are all in our price range!

The Pressure of Packing

Going on holiday in a few days and im stuck with the main problem... PACKING!!!! ARGH! Personally i think its stupid to have a weight limit because you can hardly take anything with you. Why airlines Why? So i thought i'd give you some advice on what to take with a small weight limit!
 
1. Your wash stuff/makeup -  you need to take that stuff, you don't want to stink do ya, if you do i think you have a problem... You should see someone about that.
2. A reasonable amount of shoes - from my experience i think you should take mostly  sandals because they are much lighter then plimsolls or trainers (who wears trainers abroad in a nice, hot country?). For you boys i cant think of anything you can do apart from take less shoes?
3. Mix & Match - Take sensible clothes e.g lightweight not woollen. Take clothes that you can mix and mash with so your not taking a separate outfit for everyday otherwise your suitcase is just going to get heavier and heavier.
4. Swim suits - take two or three swimming suits/bikinis/or whatever so your not over crowding your suitcase, never good. No ones going to care if you were the same swimming costume twice i think they'll be more interested in there own tan or burn in some case.
 


I swear every holiday i go on  there is always one man, wait let me rephrase  that... One tomato shrivelling up on a sun bed just roasting away. Its like why do that to yourself, so take sun cream you silly Billy's!!!
There was one holiday where  i saw this old man wearing a mankini *cries* and running with a three legged dog(awww), i tell you I'm scarred for life.
Well i guess what I'm saying is prepare for the worst because you'll be surprised what mysterious yet strange things you see. Don't say i didn't warn you...
Anyway enjoy your holidays, or at least try.
